The Nimbuzz application that allows customers to make international calls over the internet, has entered into collaboration with LG and brought an offer for their common customers. People using the app on an LG smartphone will be in for a surprise as they will get 100 free international calling minutes.
These will be internet calling minutes for calls made via the application in question. And there’s a limitation. Users can only make calls to those in the US with these free minutes from India and to no other country. It has also been revealed that Nimbuzz will now come pre-loaded on all the upcoming LG smartphones. Some of the first few devices that have the app pre-installed on them include the LG L70 and L90.
If the guys over at Nimbuzz are to be believed, then this is the first time when a manufacturer and an internet brand have partnered for such a deal. Up until now, it was mostly network providers who offered extra talk time, SMS or data. And even if you are not an LG user, you can still install the application to cut back on your international calling bills by up to 90 percent for a number of countries around the globe.
The Nimbuzz application is available for free for phones and tablets based on Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Nokia, BlackBerry, Kindle and Java platforms. It can even be downloaded on Mac OS X- and Windows-based PCs.
