After a couple of leaks gave away its obvious existence, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series has been unveiled in its entirety by the South Korean mobile giant. A sleeker design approach and an increased focus on generating an enhanced multimedia experience are to two highlights of this upgraded range according to the company.
Like always, 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch models have been launched with all three of them having been equipped with 1280 x 800 pixel display panels of the respective sizes. Each of these Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 devices will be made available in the form of Wi-Fi-only and cellular models.
They feature the benefits of a 1.2 GHz quad core processor and grab 1.5GB worth of randomly accessible memory. Moreover, 3MP and 1.3MP camera units will be placed on the back and front surfaces of all three models, respectively. Buyers of these tablets will be presented with access to the 4.4 KitKat version of Android, along with the usual TouchWIZ user interface.
Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 range hasn’t been revealed as yet, but the company has indeed disclosed that these slates will be made available sometime in Q2 of this year in black and white colored models.
