Amazon Kindle tablets to be made available with EMI schemes in India

The Amazon Kindle eReaders including the Paperwhite as well as the Fire tablets will soon be made available with EMI schemes to make them more accessible to customers. You can make the most of the offer on the web portal as well as at retail channels where these gadgets are available.

You need to make a purchase of at least Rs 3000 to get the devices on EMI basis and the shopping portal has tied up with ICICI, HDFC and Citibank for the same. Users can choose their tenure between options like three, six, nine and 12 months. And if they are visiting one of the 250 stores across India, then they can make the purchase using various other banks’ credit cards as well.

New Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

It is applicable for the new generation Kindle Paperwhite which is currently on sale for Rs 10,080 instead of its original price of Rs 10,999. Monthly installments for it will be Rs 900 for 12 months. As for the 6-inch Kindle eReader, it is now being offered for a discounted price of Rs 5,600 and if you purchase it on EMI for a year, you will have to shell out Rs 500 every month.

As for the Kindle Fire HD 7 and 8.9, they are available for prices of Rs 11,999 and Rs 17,999, respectively. The aforementioned discounts on the Kindle eReader and Paperwhite are valid only until April 15 so interested users will have to hurry.
