HTC One M8 launched with Duo Camera and other new features, coming to India this April

After seeing the handset so many times in the past through leaks, we have now finally seen the HTC One M8 in an official manner. A depth-sensing secondary camera, an Ultrapixel main camera, improved Boomsound speakers, Sense 6.0, a Snapdragon 801 chipset and many other attributes are among the features which have been infused into the smartphone by the Taiwanese manufacturer.

And it won’t take too long for the device to arrive in India. At a concurrent event to that of the London and New York unveiling parties, HTC India made it clear that this new handset will be hitting the country in April itself.

The HTC One M8 comes equipped with a 5-inch full HD display and runs on a 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. Its rear surface features a Duo camera setup which includes an HTC UltraPixel snapper and a depth-sensing secondary camera that lets you adjust focus on images after they’ve been clicked.

The HTC One M8 offers support for a wide variety of LTE bands, and hence its Indian model too will be compatible with available 4G networks in the country. This phone will be doled out in 16GB and 32GB storage models, while it will even kick in a microSD card slot for further expansions of up to a whopping 128GB.
