Samsung Galaxy S4 price in India slashed to Rs 30000 and less

Just in case you were thinking of upgrading to a smartphone with high end specs, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has got a price drop to Rs 30000 in India. That’s almost Rs 10000 cheaper than its original cost. As you may have very well guessed, it’s the upcoming April 11 global release of the Galaxy S5 which has bitten a huge chunk off the exiting smartphone’s cost.

Since the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be landing in India soon, the demand for the older handset is obviously going to decrease. So various retailers across the country have put the device on sale at a much lower price. But the company’s official eStore is yet to make any change to the Rs 40690 tag attached to the phone.

Flipkart and Snapdeal are selling the Galaxy S4 for Rs 29,860 and Rs 29,499, respectively. HomeShop18 has a comparatively unreasonable price of Rs 34,500 stuck to the smartphone. If you consider the tweaks in the key specs of the forthcoming flagship and the retiring one in terms of hardware, then the only sacrifices you’re likely to feel are the new processor and the higher resolution camera.
