Google Valentine’s Day 2014 doodle is an interactive chocolate maker contraption

You’re certainly not going to be happy with the Google Valentine’s Day 2014 interactive doodle, especially if you’ve been on a diet just so you look extra nice this February 14th. That’s only if you have a significant other who thinks this virtual candy will satisfy your sweet tooth on the day of love.

The latest Google doodle will allow you to stir the pot yourself and create chocolates in some really interesting combinations. All three of your masterpieces can be made out of three basic ingredients only and one of them will surprise you. Don’t blame us if you have to spend Valentine’s Day alone this year should you decide to use the ingredient we’re about to tell you about.

You can choose from white, dark or milk chocolate for your base. The options for decorating the top of your candy is also limited to three – colorful sprinkles, almond or walnut. But it’s what’s inside that really counts, right? Well, you can add raspberry, almond, toffee, strawberry, gummy bears, cherry or (surprise!) ants into each bite of chocolate.

Once you’re done experimenting with your skills as a chocolatier, the gift is wrapped up in a red, heart-shaped box with a white ribbon. The next step involves you sending your creation to your loved one/ones through a link via Google+, Twitter or Facebook.

Sounds yummy, doesn’t it? Whoever said “Forget love — I’d rather fall in chocolate,” was obviously speaking for himself or herself. Regular folks like us need a little bit of both. Scratch that – a lot of both.

The last Google Doodle we really enjoyed playing was the interactive skydiving game which came out in October 2013. Want to try your hand at the Valentine’s Day 2014 contraption? Here’s the link to it.
