The Micromax Canvas Duet 2 has been spotted in the wild and rumor has it that the device is slated to go up for sale for a price of Rs 15,790. Its retail package that was spotted online, leaked all the details regarding the device, one of them being that it is a dual SIM gadget capable of supporting both CDMA and GSM networks.
Apparently, the Micromax Canvas Duet 2 is not limited to a particular carrier’s network. It can run all CDMA SIM cards available in India. The guys over at micromaxcanvas.co.in managed to lay their hands over the snap that clearly gives out its specifications. And the Twitter handle @MaheshTelecom also shared a picture of the device’s retail box.
Let’s take a look at its specifications. The Micromax Canvas Duet 2 EG11 shows off a touchscreen measuring 5.27 inches and you can expect dual cameras too. An 8MP snapper rests on the rear side, while a 2MP one sits on the front. The Android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS is at the heart of the gadget and you can rely on its quad core processor that ticks at 1.2GHz for multitasking properties.
Its system memory amounts to 1GB and you get 4GB of space on the phone to hoard digital content. However, the latter is expandable by up to 32GB using a microSD card. And a 2300mAh battery should keep it charged up for at least an entire day.
The aforementioned blog says that the Micromax Canvas Duet 2 will be priced at Rs 19,999, but various reports have surfaced on the web suggesting that it will cost you Rs 15,790.
