SanDisk has proclaimed the launch of the Ultra Dual USB as well as the Extreme Pro USB 3.0 drives in India, both of which are now available across the globe. Their prices range from Rs 1,199 to Rs 16,388.
First up is the Ultra Dual which is the company’s first dual USB drive that comes in very handy for the purpose of transferring and backing up data between mobile devices and computer systems. Its micro USB port can be used to connect it to a smartphone or a table that supports OTG, while the regular connector is compatible with the ports on a desktop.
Instead of caps, this storage device features a retractable design that eliminates the possibility of losing the caps and damaging the connector. Also, it is compatible with the SanDisk Memory Zone app which brings better file management options. The application can be downloaded via the Google Play store. You can choose variants featuring storage capacities between 16GB and 64GB.
As for the SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.0, it is a 128GB drive that is said to deliver a fast performance. It can apparently clock in read and write speeds of 260MB/s and 240MB/s, respectively. Crammed into a durable chassis made of aluminum, the device is loaded with SanDisk SecureAccess for security purposes and password protection.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual USB 16GB and 64GB drives are priced at Rs 1,199 and Rs 3,800, correspondingly, while the SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.0 128GB will set you back by Rs 16,388.
