The Celkon S1 has made its debut in India to take on the mid-range devices like the Lava Iris Pro 30 and the Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini amongst others which have just been launched in the country. Interested users will have to fork out Rs 15,000 if they are interested in the smartphone.
This Celkon contender brings some great features to the table that, according to us, completely justifies the price tag. For starters, you get the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1 OS which is responsible for providing an intuitive interface and even access to various Google mobile services including the Google Play store.
Coming to the screen, the phone shows off a 5-inch touchscreen that is deployed with the OGS and IPS technologies and has FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It tags along a 13MP camera and an 8MP webcam has been fitted on the front surface to help you capture good-quality images.
And what’s more, the 3G Celkon device makes the most of a quad core processor ticking at 1.5GHz and brings 1GB of RAM. Internal memory of 16GB has also been provided to allow potential buyers to save their stuff on the device. It is the responsibility of a 2300mAh battery to keep the gadget going for at least an entire day.
The Celkon S1 is slated to be made available in the country for a price of Rs 14,999.
