The Sony PlayStation 4 or PS4 as it is commonly known has finally been made available in India and has started shipping to customers who had pre-ordered it through various online retailers. Shopping portals like Snapdeal had put it up for pre booking quite a while ago and only recently we had reported that Landmark stores have starting accepting pre-orders for it through their retail channels as well as online.
Those who had placed their orders through the Landmark website can expect the Sony PS4 to knock on their doors any time now and gamers who personally went to a store to book their units will need to head over to it once again to collect their machines. And it goes without saying that those who hadn’t purchased it in advance can pick it up from any authorized dealers in India.
And in case you are an Xbox fan waiting for the latest iteration of the gaming console to hit the market scene in India, you may not have to look forward to it for very long. Snapdeal has listed this machine on its website and is accepting pre-orders for it too. According to the e-retailer, the gadget will arrive in India in March 2014. But while the PS4 has been priced at just under Rs 40,000, the Xbox One will set you back by a whopping Rs 55,000.
For refresher’s sake, the Sony PS4 is available now in India for Rs 39,990.
