1 in 3 people do not want to spend time with their Facebook friends

You will be surprised to know that you are not the only one who dislikes your Facebook friends, 1 in every 3 people who use the social network are on the same page as you. A survey was conducted to gather information regarding the subject from multiple users and this was the result.

Let alone the entire Facebook friend list, most people are not even interested to meet up with half of them. In fact, they only prefer to meet in person with 10 percent of their so called friends. It has also been revealed by the survey that not everyone likes those they have befriended on the SNS. The reason why they continue to connect is to see their pictures online.

Apart from keeping tabs on their vacation and random photos, most users stay in touch on Facebook with others so they can contact them if they need to. And apparently, they have no choice but to continue being friends with some because they are related. The unwillingness to delete acquaintances from the social circle is also because most people do not wish to face consequences of cutting someone off online.

But here’s one of the real reason why so many subscribers continue to keep people in their profiles even when they dislike them. They do not want to miss out on gossip and need to keep an eye on the online activities of either their kids, family members or other relatives.

Metro.co.uk reports that the survey was conducted by VoucherCodesPro on 2,863 Facebook users above 18. So are these the reasons why you continue to keep people in your Facebook friend list? Do tell us if your reasons differ.
