Vodafone rolls out 5 ‘Super Plans’ for prepaid users

Vodafone’s launched 5 new ‘Super Plans’ for its prepaid customers, just a few weeks after announcing fresh schemes for its postpaid Red subscribers. The tariffs were announced in the company’s Tamil Nadu circle, but might be available across the country.

Anyone with a 2G/3G/4G-ready handset can take up one of Vodafone’s Super Plans. All of them except for the basic Rs 79 one offer free national roaming. The entry-level plan does present unlimited local and STD calls though, as well as 500MB of 2G/3G/4G data. People will be charged 25p/SMS for both local and national messages.

The Rs 79 bundle has a validity of 7 days. On the other hand, the Rs 199 pack lasts for 28 days and gives away 1GB of data. It should be noted that this 1GB is spread across the entire validity period, so it might get stretched a little thin. Other details remain the same for both.

Individuals who need a bit more data on their side can opt for the next Rs 347 tariff which offers 1.5GB of data on a daily basis for 28 days. The other parameters still stay the same. This doesn’t continue with the Rs 458 scheme, as it offers 100 free SMSes and 1GB of data per day for 70 days.
