T-Mobile adds three LG handsets to its portfolio

T-mobile LG Logo Phone manufacturers have been trying to bring in new feature phones to entice users. LG and T-Mobile have also joined the race. Both the companies have recently collaborated to offer a trio of new phones from LG’s kitty dubbed the LG Sentio, the LG dLite and the LG GS170.

The trio presents several diverse features, form factors and multiple colors to excite users with different preferences and tastes. The LG Sentio and the LG dLite employ an application of T-Mobile Buzz which provides quick and easy access of all social networking sites after installation. Users will be able to get pop-up notifications on their homepage with an option to visit the social networking site in order to view it.

“LG and T-Mobile have come together to offer customers a trio of unique handsets to outfit every generation. LG is redefining the mobile phone market by setting a new standard in feature rich phones,” shared Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president, Marketing and Innovation, LG Mobile Phones.

The LG Sentio comes equipped with a 3-inch touchscreen with the facility to customize the homepage with the help of widgets. A virtual QWERTY keyboard enables users to keep in touch with their loved ones via Social Buzz, e-mail and picture messaging. Featuring a 3-megapixel camera with video playback, an MP3 player and Visual Voicemail support, the handset ensures complete entertainment for users. This 3G-enabled phone allows users of faster Web browsing over T-Mobile web2goSM. The phone also comes with GPS for location-based services.

“We’re expanding our lineup of compelling handset choices for our customers with the addition of these LG phones. Coupled with T-Mobile’s award-winning customer service and high-speed network, these fashionable new phones offer winning solutions for families,” remarked Paul Cole, vice president, Devices and Accessories, T-Mobile USA.

A LED matrix hidden on the outside of LG dLite displays icons for alerts, caller ID, time and date and exclusively customized edge-lit LED light colors and patterns that can change on a whim, enabling users to easily connect with friends and family. Adorning a large 2.8-inch main display, this phone features Social Buzz, personal e-mail and Visual Voicemail support. The 3G-enabled flip phone is dressed in two vivacious colors of bubblegum and electric blue.

Completing the trio, the LG GS 170 offers users an intuitive user interface and a high-resolution color display. It comes with Bluetooth 2.1, one-touch speakerphone and large visible keys packed in a pocket-sized clamshell design. Features like VGA camera, MP3 capability, text/picture messaging, and e-mail support make this device an easy-to-use mobile phone.

The LG Sentio, dLite and GS170 are anticipated to be available this summer in select T-Mobile retail stores and online. As of now, the pricing details are not revealed.
