Stylish Nokia C5 phone comes to India for Rs. 8,839 only

Nokia C5 IndiaNokia’s list of budget phones for India packs in quite a handful of interesting devices including the recently launched C3. The company now reveals the availability of the C5 handset for the country. An affordable smartphone in a fashion-forward form factor seems to be an apt description of this device.

Coming in just a few months post the launch of Nokia’s C3, this recent C series addition boasts of a 2.2” QVGA LCD TFT display. Powered by the Symbian OS 9.3, this mid-range phone is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera having LED Flash and video recording support. Furthermore videos can be captured at a 15 fps VGA resolution.

Supporting 3G functionality without weighing too much on the users’ wallets appears to be an added advantage of the phone. It is enabled for EGPRS and buttresses an FM Radio receiver too. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and a 3.5mm jack along with a robust ARM 11 processor are the phone’s other attributes. Running at 600Mhz with 128MB of RAM, it should allow users to enjoy a nifty web browsing experience.

For those who keep multimedia content high up on their list, the C5 is bundled with an internal memory of around 50MB. While it includes a 2GB card, users can also expand the memory up to 16GB courtesy the microSD card slot. Fuelled by a 1050MAh battery, Nokia says the phone should last around 12 hours in talktime and 26 days in the standby mode.

The Nokia C5 is up for grabs now at a price of Rs. 8,839. We’re hoping it’s available in both white and warm gray colors.
