Now if you plan to enjoy some soulful music on your phone then the two walkman phones can be a perfect choice. W715 slider is an improved version of W705 where as W508 is a simple clamshell device.
Sony Ericsson W715 GPS enabled phone is specially designed and will be exclusively available only for Vodafone. It has a metal finish and comprises a large 2.4 inch screen. You can capture your special moments via a 3.2 megapixel camera and can share them with your friends and family through Bluetooth connectivity. You can even upload the images immediately on social networking sites over Wi-Fi connectivity. The Vodafone Find&Go service will enable the users to locate shopping malls, restaurants or hotels quickly. It is also pre loaded with Google maps which makes traveling easy.

The SenseMe feature can match your mood to the music and the shake control has the ability to change tracks with just a twist of your wrist. W715 is also integrated with features like music recognition and TrackID as well as Vodafone Music. Accompanying the music features is the FM radio that will keep you in tune with latest songs. You can store in ample of music with its 4GB extensible memory card.
Sony Ericsson W508 is a clamshell walkman phone sporting a 2.2 inch main display screen as well as a monochromatic scratch resistant 1.1 inch external screen. The W508 phone is a true music phone that incorporates gesture and shake control. The two controls will allow you to control the music with just a twist of your wrist and become your own DJ. With a sweep of your hand you can shuffle or set the functions or mute the volume without interfering with any buttons.

The W508 clamshell device features a 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording capability. The phone comes packed in with 8 extra style covers and 1GB memory. The battery life of the phone offers 16 days of standby time and talktime upto 10 hours.
Both the devices are bundled with great music features and functions. W715 will be available in black and silver color in Q1 2009 whereas W508 is expected to be available in Q2 2009. Pricing details for both the Walkman phone are not yet revealed.
