Sony Ericsson T715 VH310Sony Ericsson’s latest offerings will now allow users to organize and manage their lives in a better way. The company has released a new phone called the T715 along with the VH310 headset. Immensely stylish, the T715 is a slider phone loaded with many communication features. As for the VH310, it is a Bluetooth headset designed for comfort.

This latest phone looks classy with the elegant and compact slider. It incorporates a large keypad as well as font size that simplify texting and email. It enables conversations, sound recorder, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Instant messaging services. In addition to that, the device offers instant messaging, picture messaging and predictive text input. It comprises of a large 2.2” 262,144 colors TFT QVGA 240×320 pixels screen. With picture wallpaper, torch functionality and wallpaper animation, it sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with up to 3.2x digital zoom and video recording. Other features such as Photo fix and Send to web are included as well.

Thanks to the numerous services offered by the phone users can look forward to an exciting multimedia experience. The Album art, media player and Bluetooth stereo enrich the users’ music listening experience. The device also comprises of MEGA BASS, Music tones (MP3/AAC), PlayNow and TrackID. 3D games, FM radio and Java say also add fun in the lives of users. Furthermore, it comprises of video streaming and viewing along with access to YouTube.

The smart desktop and birthday reminders assist users in organizing and managing life in a better way. Alarm clock, calculator, stopwatch and calendar are some other functions incorporated by the phone. Additional features consist of a flight mode, notes, phonebook, tasks and timer. Users can access high-speed and uninterrupted Internet with the 3G network connection. Access NetFront web browser, Google search and Bookmarks are offered by the handset. It also provides photo and web feeds.

The device provides a speakerphone, vibrating alert and video calling through the main camera. Geo-tagging of photos and Google Maps are extra features of the phone. It supports Bluetooth and USB. It gives a Modem and the PictBridge printing facility too. It offers synchronization along with USB mass storage. Additional accessories are a battery, a battery charger, the stereo portable handsfree and a user book. Clip-on Bluetooth Handsfree VH300, Power Pack CPP-100 and Design collection IDC-31 Courtside Case are optional accessories.

Weighing 96.5 grams, the handset is 91.5x48x14.9 mm in size. It comes in Galaxy Silver (piano finish) and Rouge Pink (mirror finish) colors. It has a phone memory up to 90MB with SanDisk microSD memory card storage. It offers a talk and standby time of up to 10 hours and 400 hours respectively with GSM or GPRS and video call time up to 3 hours. The talktime and standby time with UMTS is up to 4 hours and 350 hours respectively. The phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS HSPA/2100. T715a provides GSM/GPRS/EDGE/850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS HSPA 850/1900/2100 networks.

Sony also introduced the VH310 Bluetooth headset designed considering the comfort of users. Weighing 10 grams, the headset can work on one charge with more than 20 days of life. It is made of plastic and is 48×11.5×17.4 in size. Offered in silver and black colors, the headset is compatible with majority phones from SEMC and other brands. It is accessorized by 3 ear pieces and 2 removable hooks.

The T715 will hit the markets in the third quarter of 2009. There is no word yet about the pricing.
