Samsung sure seems to come up with innovative ideas to promote their handsets. Samsung is rolling out a limited edition SpongeBob Squarepants Corby phone, in Hong Kong. This was cited by Samsung Hub.
Reportedly, the limited edition phone is the same as the original S3650C but if purchased by April 23, 2010 then users can either receive a Spongebob or his best friend Patrick Star’s battery cover set. The set encompasses two battery covers with the cartoon’s photos on it. Also users will get a mobile pouch and a Spongebob token.
As for the specs, it is pretty much the same. The phone sports a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display. The handset comprises of Bluetooth, FM radio and a microSD card slot. This device features a 2MP camera. This new limited edition phone also adorns a cartoon-like version of Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI which could provide users swift access to social networking serves.
