Reliance Jio has modified its Surprise Cashback offer for Jio Prime users to offer a bit less payback than before. While the maximum benefit was Rs 2600 earlier, the figure has now dropped to Rs 700.
This is still a pretty good discount, plus the actual cashback you get is dependent on many factors. Right now, recharging for Rs 398 and above will grant you more than 100% cashback in the form of Jio and e-commerce vouchers. The deal is live now till January 31.
Reliance Jio will provide for 8 vouchers worth Rs 50 each, totaling Rs 400 in all. Each can be used one at a time against recharges of Rs 300 and above, in addition to data add-ons worth Rs 91 and above in the MyJio app.
As for partner wallets, Amazon Pay, MobiKwik, Freecharge, Axis Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm are all offering cashback up to Rs 300. For instance, Amazon Pay patrons will get Rs 50 as cashback, while Axis Pay customers get Rs 100 if they’re a new recharge user and Rs 30 if they’re an existing one.

MobiKwik is offering a huge Rs 300 as cashback, in addition to a 100% SuperCash MobiKwik Hotel voucher up to Rs 2500. Meanwhile, Paytm is giving Rs 50 as cashback for those new to recharges and Rs 30 for those who are old hats at it. It’s also bundling in a 50% discount up to Rs 150 on a first-time movie booking.
It should be noted that Jio’s Surprise Cashback offer is valid for a maximum of 5 recharges and up to 5 voucher purchases.
