Philips V808 Android handset now official

Android Philips V808 The most awaited Android handset from Philips, the V808 has finally made an official appearance. According to UnwiredView, the phone will be the second Android device after the V900, to be launched by Philips.

The V808 boasts of a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display of unknown resolution. Reportedly, it is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera along with music, video player and widget support.

As far as connectivity features are concerned, the touchscreen mobile phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE. The Android powered Philips handset packages a 1000mAh battery as well as microSD card slot that supports up to 8GB of expandable memory. Apparently, the dimensions of the Philips V808 are 115mm x 61mm x 14 mm.

Probably the Android mobile phone will be made available in China via its leading network carrier China Mobile. The handset does not incorporate any out of the box features, hence it seems that the touchscreen mobile phone will be reasonably priced.
