The Oppo F7 has officially arrived in India as the brand’s newest selfie-centric phone, this time with an iPhone X-like notch up top. The cutout allows it to have a nearly bezel-less design with an 88% screen-to-body ratio and 19:9 aspect ratio.
The screen itself is very large, measuring 6.23-inch diagonally. Oppo is selling 2 variants of the F7. The standard one will be available in red and silver in a 4GB/64GB configuration, while the Special Edition will be sold in red, silver, and black in a 6GB/128GB combination. The former is priced at Rs 21990 and the latter at Rs 26990.
Like its predecessors, the F7 puts a greater emphasis on selfies. The 25MP front-facing shooter has been blessed with AI smarts to help it take better HDR shots in low light and bright light, as well as accurately place AR Stickers. AI Beauty 2.0 scans 296 facial recognition points and can tell the difference between men and women for better beautification even in mixed groups.

The Oppo F7 will initially be sold through a flash sale on April 2 via Flipkart and offline stores. Offers include a 5% cashback on ICICI credit cards, 120GB of Jio data, a Rs 1200 Jio cashback, and a one-time screen replacement within a year. Regular sales are set to begin on April 9. The Special Edition model is set to be vended only through select Oppo outlets.
