Microsoft to uncover Windows phones on October 6

Windows phones can be considered as perfect devices for work and play, offering users with ultimate convenience to get information they want by harnessing the power of the PC, phone and Web. The redesigned Internet Explorer Mobile browser comes with a new engine and built-in Adobe Flash Lite support for enhanced rendering and tasks completion. Users will now find more facilities offered from their mobile phones such as getting directions or simply paying bills.

Microsoft Office Mobile enables users to open and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents directly from their mobile phones. Consumers can now keep updates about their friends in one place with the help of Windows Live on their mobile phones.

In order to provide more convenience to users, the Windows phones will come with two new powerful mobile services. Its free My Phone service will enable users to automatically backup and sync photos, music, contacts along with text messages from their mobile phones to the Web.
