Virgin Mobile USA is said to acquire Helio. Virgin Mobile is reported to be buying it for $39 million.
Virgin Mobile can thus diversify and cater to a larger segment of customers with the acquisition of Helio which is a premium post-paid service that specially targets all the excessive data users.
