Asus announces the P835 PDA phone

Asus P835 phone Asus unveils a new PDA phone called the P835 phone. Designed for business users, the elegant phone wraps in innovative and enhanced features and technologies that enriches a user’s experience.

Adorning a candybar form factor, the Asus P835 phone features a 3.5 inch WVGA touch screen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The phone boasts of Asus exclusive and innovative Glide interface with new icons and allows users to easily interact with the interface. The Asus P835 phone is enriched with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording capabilities.

The phone integrates a MP3 player that supports various music formats and a video playback feature. The Asus P835 phone equips an internal memory of 4GB and supports external microSD card slot. Backed by 1100 mAh battery, the phone provides a talktime of upto 6 hours with 3G and 7 hours with 2G and a standby time of upto 350 hours and 300 hours with 3G and 2G respectively.

Additionally, the phone is enriched with various business applications that allow users to perform their business work profoundly. The Asus P835 phone runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system and allows users to edit Word and Excel documents. Users can also view PowerPoint presentations and the phone supports Adobe reader. The phone also supports Windows Live MSN, Voice Commander and Push Email.
