Amazon, Flipkart offering big Diwali deals on iPhone 8 and more

Flipkart and Amazon are battling it out in the world of online shopping with the former’s Big Diwali Sale and the latter’s Great Indian Festival. Both are offering a number of deals across a wide category of products till October 17.

Starting off with Amazon, the site is offering a 10% cashback to anyone who buys items using their SBI credit or debit card. The minimum transaction has to be equal to or above Rs 5000 and the offer is limited to Rs 1750. There’s also a 10% Amazon Pay cashback scheme for products worth Rs 250 and above which is capped to Rs 500.

Flipkart has chosen to partner with HDFC Bank for its Big Diwali Sale. Debit and credit card customers of the bank will get a 10% instant discount on a minimum order value of Rs 3000. The maximum discount available is Rs 1750 per transaction and Rs 3500 per card. They’ll also get to take advantage of No Extra Cost EMI plans on their credit card.

iPhone 8 Plus

Even Bajaj Finserv is serving up No Cost EMI schemes. Flipkart’s own UPI-based PhonePe payments app is additionally offering a 20% cashback up to Rs 200. Moving on to the smartphones on offer, the 64GB iPhone 8 has gotten a huge Rs 4001 price cut on both Amazon and Flipkart and is now selling at Rs 59999.

Amazon is offering up to Rs 10000 as part of its exchange scheme, while Flipkart is upping the stakes to Rs 20000. The 256GB iPhone 8 has gotten more affordable as well, going down to Rs 74999 on Flipkart and Rs 74990 on Amazon. As for the iPhone 8 Plus, the 64GB variant has become the recipient of an even bigger Rs 5001 discount down to Rs 67999 on Flipkart and Amazon.
