Airtel’s revamped Rs 399 plan offers 70GB data

Airtel’s decided to continue revamping its current plans in an effort to go toe-to-toe with rival Reliance Jio. The latest pack to get upgraded is the Rs 399 prepaid one which now serves up a ton of more data.

The Rs 399 scheme previously offered 1GB of 3G/4G data on a daily basis for 28, totaling 28GB in all. It’s now been bumped up to Rs 70 days to grant subscribers 70GB of data. This is a significant increase and should please existing and new customers alike.

Other than a whole bunch of data, the new Rs 399 tariff gives away 100 free SMSes and unlimited voice calls including roaming, local, and STD. Here to give Airtel some competition is Reliance Jio’s Rs 398 plan. Its deal offers 1.5GB of high-speed 4G data a day. After the limit is exhausted, the speed drops down to 64Kbps.
