Airtel now offering 1.4GB/day with Rs 199, Rs 448, Rs 509 plans

Airtel is on something of revision roll, revamping most of its packs to take on the challenge that is Reliance Jio. Instead of announcing new plans, it’s been busy upgrading its existing ones to offer more data or more validity.

The latest batch to get the revamp treatment is Airtel’s Rs 199, Rs 448, and Rs 509 prepaid plans. While each tariff previously got bundled with 1GB of data per day, the new system grants them 1.4GB of data per day. This is a pretty significant increase and should please both existing customers and new ones alike.

Airtel is keeping the other benefits of each scheme the same including unlimited calling and 100 SMSes on a daily basis. The Rs 199 pack sticks around for 28 days, equaling 39.2GB of data. The 448 plan has a validity of 82 days, totaling 114.8GB of data. Finally, the Rs 509 offer is in place for 90 days, granting a grand total of 126GB of data.
