Magicon UltraSmart Q50 Magnus up for sale in India for Rs 8,000

The Magicon UltraSmart Q50 Magnus is another device apart from the Micromax Canvas 4, Spice CoolPad 2 and Xolo Play to have entered India with a fairly affordable retail tag. Magicon believes that the handset brings attributes that are usually found in the higher end phones.

The device in question binges on a scoopful of Ice Cream Sandwich, version 4.0.4 to be precise which is single-handedly responsible for the intuitive interface. Its front panel is dominated by a 5-inch 5-point capacitive multi-touch screen and just a little bit of space is taken up by a VGA webcam. It goes without saying that this camera can be used for making video conference calls as well as for capturing self portraits.

As for the system memory, the device has 512MB of it and employs a 1GHz dual core processor for facilitating multitasking. Its connectivity ports are inclusive of a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB port, while wireless communication options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also present for transferring data and accessing the web. Also, the handset itself can also assume the role of a mobile hotspot to share internet with multiple gadgets.
