The Virgin Media ZTE Blade III price in the UK has been broadcasted through Virgin Media and the Android smartphone has been made available for purchase. Customers can opt to lay claim over the handset by either subscribing to the Pay As You Go plan or through one of the carrier’s service agreements.
With the 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen which the Blade III integrates, users will be able to view movies, pictures they have captured using the incorporated 3MP rear-facing camera and much more, at a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The main snapper may be the only medium of satiating users’ photography cravings, but it comes bundled with decent features like auto focus and 4x digital zoom.
Fitted under the handset’s chassis will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor clocked at 1GHz which will be assisted by 512MB of RAM. Unfortunately, the device will pack the Ice Cream Sandwich OS in this age of Jelly Bean and it is hard to tell whether its future holds a potential upgrade.
The phone will provide an internal storage space of around 4GB and the overall memory can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Apart from Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G for Internet browsing, there exists Bluetooth 2.1 to facilitate transfer of data wirelessly and GPS for turn-by-turn navigation. While carrying out all the aforementioned activities, a 1,600mAh Li-ion battery will be powering the device.
The ZTE Blade III has already struck Virgin Media online and retail stores and it can be picked at a cost of £79.99 on the PayG plan. Buyers will also be able to purchase it on contract basis starting from £13 per month. The company’s latest offering includes high-end smartphones such as the Nubia Z5 and the Grand S.
