The BlackBerry Z10 price for the UK has made its way into the open along with the announcement of the recently introduced BB10 smartphones. The device is slated to go live in the country today and it will be launched through various carriers as well as retailers on pay-monthly contracts and pre-pay subscriptions.
The Z10 by BlackBerry (formerly RIM) made its debut along with the QWERTY-equipped Q10 smartphone. The key technical aspects of both devices are pretty much the same, with a dual core processor running the show with 2GB of RAM. The front of the handset in question is fixed with a 4.2-inch HD display and a 2MP snapper, while an 8MP camera with AF and an LED flash rests on the rear.
Some of the main highlights of the BB10 platform include the HUB, the new virtual keyboard for quick text input, the Flow UI and the camera’s Time Shift mode. Users will also have voice control where messages can be sent, meetings can be scheduled and Facebook statuses can be updated with verbal commands.
Starting February 5, interested buyers in Canada will be able to lay hands on the device for $149.99 on a 3-year contract, while those residing in the UAE will have to shell out AED 2,599 when it is launched after the 10th. For the UK, potential buyers can head over to Phones 4u and purchase the handset in both, white and black shades. In addition to Three, EE, T-Mobile and Orange, various other carriers are offering the phone as well.
The unlocked BlackBerry Z10 is soon to arrive through Clove UK, although a price for this option hasn’t been specified as yet. Vodafone states on its official blog that the device is already up for grabs through its retail and online stores starting at £29 with a 2-year contract and a £42 monthly payment. Or it can be purchased for free with a £47 tariff plan. O2 has announced through Twitter that customers can pick up the handset at no cost with a 24-month service agreement and the £36 On & On tariff before February 13, 2012.
