There is also an 8MP camera cum camcorder for capturing images and recording videos.

“We’re pleased to join with RadioShack to deliver high-quality, no-contract wireless services including our award-winning Muve Music service,” said Robert Young, executive vice president, field operations for Cricket. “Now RadioShack customers can experience Muve Music and the unlimited music platform it provides on their phone. Wireless customers are looking for top-quality devices, service plans that fit their needs and entertainment, all at a great value, and we’re pleased to help bring these products to RadioShack customers.”

For texters, the Huawei Pillar tags along a QWERTY keypad that ensures quick input. Through mobile Web access and a built-in camera, users can snap images and share them with friends. All handsets from the distributor will include Cricket’s Muve Music service for unlimited song downloads with no extra charges. An 8GB SanDisk card is also bundled in with these smartphones.

Potential buyers will be able to pick up the above mentioned phones via the RadioShack No-contract Wireless service, powered by Cricket from today. They are priced at $149.99 and $39.99, respectively. The latter comes with service plans that start at $25 per month.
