Philips XX50 is the new phone to be launched soon, which comes under the Philips Xenium family of phones. While mobile phones have become a requirement these days, the need for longer battery life has also arisen. To solve the woes of low battery life, Philips unveils their latest X550 phone that boasts of a long battery life.
This candybar phone offers a QVGA display with 262k colors and a 3.2MP autofocus camera and a microSD slot which offers up to 8GB of memory. Its outstanding feature has to be its battery life which claims to last up to a month in stand-by mode.
The X550, like most other Xenium phones, doesn’t possess 3G connectivity and depends only on GPRS and EDGE for data transfers. Therefore it might probably be sold only in China and Eastern Europe.
There is no word on the pricing and availability of the phone.
