An amicable partnership between Motorola and China Telecom has brought the Motorola Razr V XT889 and Motosmart Mix XT553 to the Chinese market. Both the devices are ICS-powered, while the latter offers dual mode and dual standby capabilities as well.

The first to step in is the XT889 that sports a 4.3-inch screen on the front panel. Just like a few other Motorola handsets, the display is reinforced with Kevlar fiber for added durability. An 8MP snapper with the HD video recording attribute sits on the rear and there’s a front-facing sensor for video conferencing. Moreover, it employs Smart Actions for automating daily routines like activating the silent mode and so on.

“It’s great to be collaborating with China Telecom once again to launch these two amazing smartphones. Motorola RAZR V XT889 is a sleek sidekick that delivers great value for money. It’s tough and smart, and has software tools that will make your life simpler from morning to night. Motosmart Mix XT553 is the perfect phone for young people; giving you all the features you want without having to switch numbers,” stated Frank Meng, Senior Vice President and President of Greater China, Motorola Mobility.

Its exterior is properly cut out to sport rounded curves that are accentuated in poppy-red. It is available in color choices of white or black. Besides, applications like Sina Micro Music and iMusic are ready at hand.

Both the Motorola Razr V XT889 and Motosmart Mix XT553 will ship from June 15 onwards.
