The Micromax A45 Superfone Punk has arrived on the scene with a pair of funky headphones to go with the look. The fact that the smartphone packs in Gingerbread for a price slightly above Rs. 5,000, may render it attractive in the mid-range market.

The front panel of the Micromax device is dominated by an 8.89cm full touch capacitive screen proffering images in resolutions of 320 X 480p. The Li-ion battery under the hood is expected to provide approximately 4.5 hours of talk time. Operating on a 650MHz processor, it is a dual SIM and dual standby device.
