The U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy S II will soon unleash for U.S. residents who might have missed out on some of the earlier offers put forth by various other operators. Since its launch in the country late last year, the smartphone has been made available through various network carriers like Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

The Galaxy S II handset is a Gingerbread powered device, which was introduced by the Korea based conglomerate in early 2011. Touted to be one of the slimmest smartphones made available in the market, the dimensions of this one measure 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.49 millimeters. It also features a Super AMOLED Plus display which has been securely covered with Corning Gorilla glass.

Embedded with a 1.2GHz Samsung Exnyos C210 dual core processor, the gadget sports a rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash as well as a 2MP secondary snapper. It comes with a 16GB built-in memory that can be expanded by simply equipping it with a microSD card of up to 32GB storage capacity.

The U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy S II price tag is $229.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. However, the release date for this handset has not been revealed yet.
