Along with the white Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, another mobile device set to make its debut on January 8 is the Sprint Samsung M370 feature phone. This basic handset boasts of a clamshell design and will be available in a pewter gray color.

With measurements that read 3.8” x 1.97” x 0.7”, the M370 is capable of lending support to Bluetooth connectivity and even includes a 2.4-inch 240 x 320p QVGA LCD display. It comes equipped with a 1.3MP camera possessing digital zoom and self timer capabilities. Weighing 104g, the mobile device features speaker-independent voice dialing.

Embedded with a 3.5mm universal audio jack, it operates on a 1000mAh lithium-ion battery which delivers up to 5.4 hours of talk time. The feature phone happens to arrive with 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM. It enables threaded text messaging by which owners can exchange text messages in a chat-like interface so that they are able to see the full conversation of each contact.

Offering 2MB of total download capacity, this new Samsung handset could be useful for parents as it comes incorporated with Sprint Family Locator that employs GPS technology to locate the child’s phone and also shows the location on an interactive map. This device is the successor to the Sprint Samsung M360 slider phone that had launched more than a year ago in November 2010.

The Sprint Samsung M370 feature phone is scheduled to be available from January 8 across all Sprint retail stores in the U.S. as well as online at sprint.com for a price of $19.99 with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade.
