Motorola has expanded its profile of Android powered smartphones in India, by introducing two new budget-friendly handsets, the Motorola Fire and Fire XT. It has recently also introduced the Electrify in the United States. The XT is designed as a full touchscreen Gingerbread smartphone, while the Fire is a touch and type device with a QWERTY keypad.
The Motorola Fire XT posses a 3.5-inch touchscreen along with the Swype texting feature. The main camera is of 5MP resolution and features auto-focus and built-in flash. The front camera comes handy for video chats and also for taking self-portraits.

The Motorola Fire sports a single camera of 3MP and its QWERTY keypad is accompanied with a 2.8-inch touchscreen. Other than these, both smartphones offer 3G and Wi-Fi compatibility. They support 3G hotspot for connecting up to 5 devices. These two smartphones come with a 2GB microSD card for their external memory, which is expandable up to 32GB.
The Motorola Fire is now available in India for a price of Rs. 9,990 while the Fire XT can be grabbed for 13,890.
