Motorola XT860 4G revealed for Bell customers across Canada

Motorola XT860 4G The Motorola XT860 4G striking an interesting combo of speed and physical attributes has been introduced for users across Canada. The Android 2.3 powered smartphone flaunts a sleek look along with a QWERTY slider keypad.

The handset functions on a 1GHz processor that enables swifter running of apps, streaming of media content and surfing of the web. It features a permanent number row on the top of the keypad that will allow users to key in text accurately without having to hit the ALT button.

With a 4-inch qHD touchscreen display, the device delivers crisp images, web pages and video content. Additionally, it is inclusive of Adobe Flash 10, Wi-Fi and HSPA+ connectivity. The hardware also entails an 8MP camera with 1080p HD video recording and a front facing camera that supports video chats.

“The Motorola XT860 4G is the superphone for the superhuman task of balancing our personal and business lives. With a dual core processor, ultra-efficient 5th row QWERTY and powerful multimedia features, you’re up to the challenge,” commented David Petrou, sales director, Motorola Mobility Canada.

“Bell has established itself as Canada’s superphone destination and we’re excited to add the Motorola XT860 4G – our first superphone with a full keyboard – to our already impressive portfolio of these powerful devices. On Canada’s best network, the XT860 will offer a range of benefits for both business and consumer customers,” remarked Tony Grewal, director of products at Bell Mobility.

Multimedia can be accessed on multiple screens through HDMI or DLNA with mirror mode. The XT860 4G arrives with Connected Music Player and Social Location technology too. The smart docking technology provides automatic adjustment for different kinds of docks.

Google mobile services like Google Maps 5.0 with 3D maps and navigation, Google Talk and browsing are readily available. The gadget also seeks to appeal to the business minded with GA lookup for e-mail and calendar access, remote document access and complex security, password as well as data coding.

The Motorola XT860 4G is also carried by the name Droid 3 or Milestone 3. It is slated to reach Bell Mobility clients this summer. The pricing details have not been revealed as yet.
