Motorola XT316 with Android 2.2 and 2.8-inch touchscreen introduced

Motorola XT316 Audiences wary of the budget before laying hands on any handset can opt for the Motorola mobility XT316 Android powered smartphone. It boasts of a full QWERTY keyboard and 2.8-inch touchscreen display that enables swift and easy browsing. It comes in with social media apps and a friends-centric widget to organize contacts conveniently.

The phone provides the Moto Switch user interface that allows switching between modes. It seems to be photo-friendly too as it embeds a 3MP camera. It carries a slot for microSD as well. Additionally, Google Maps Navigation and Google Talk are easily accessible.

The gadget runs on a 1420mAh battery and has 8 hours of talk time or 30 days of standby in 3G mode. Fueled by Android 2.2, it supports Wi-Fi b/g/n and also features FM radio with RDS support.

The Motorola XT316 is up for grabs in China and is slated to arrive in Hong-Kong, Taiwan, and Latin America by mid-July.
