Users can grab the reader from a retail outlet or via the online channel and insert it into the iPhone 4. Once plugged into the iDevice, they will need to download the free Square app from the App Store. Following this procedure, iPhone owners can start employing the offering without entering into complicated contracts or paying monthly fees. However, every successful transaction is said to attract a 2.75 percent charge.
Whether it’s a pair of socks or a fashionable outfit, customers can simply pull out their Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards and plug it into the reader. It has also been touted to help individuals as the innovation tracks sales and taxes. In addition, it enables electronic transfer of receipts while the company has revealed that on activation, an amount of $10 will be deposited into users’ Square account.
