Motorola Mobility India brings to India a new entrant that claims to be the country’s first Android-powered CDMA EVDO/GSM dual standby mode/dual SIM touchscreen smartphone. The company rows in with the Motorola Milestone XT800 that enables owners to opt for their desired network. An optimal mobile internet experience is offered through Wi-Fi/WAPI and world phone capability for connecting with loved ones.

The latest Indian addition comes packed with various high-definition multimedia features. All photos, videos and images can be viewed through the 9.3cm 854 x 480 pixel FWVGA landscape touch display screen. Photography enthusiasts can capture precious moments with the 5MP digital-zoom, autofocus camera and dual LED flash. According to the company, they can also acquire good pictures captured in low-light conditions. Videos can be streamed, played back and enjoyed on the integrated screen or on a HDTV through the HDMI 720p output.

Powered by the Android 2.1 platform, the Motorola Milestone XT800 smartphone includes integrated GPS satellite navigation with Google Maps. Owners can also access, view and edit documents that support various formats such as Excel, PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Zip. Other features include USB 2.0 high-speed data transfer, wireless Bluetooth stereo, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR high-speed transmission, and e-Compass. Music aficionados can groove to their favorite tracks in different formats such as MPEG4, H.264 and H.263 as well as WMA 9, MIDI, WAV, AMR WB, AMR NB, MP3, ACC+, CMX and AAC.

The Milestone XT800 bears a price tag of Rs 31,999 and comes bundled with a 2GB micro SD card and an HDMI cable for TV output.
