LG Revolution was one of the the several dazzling smartphones exhibited at the CES this year.Another offering from the manufacturer dubbed, the LG Axis, has now been unraveled. This landscape slide-out smartphone will be coming through Alltel Wireless.
The device has been fitted with a QWERTY keypad and a large touchscreen display sized up at 3.2 inches. It operates on Android 2.1 Éclair and integrates Google Maps Navigation with voice-activated turn-by-turn directions. The smartphone endows handset owners with the ability to personalize up to five homescreens.

The stylishly noir LG Axis offers mobile buffs brisk Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Dilettante photographers may appreciate the inclusion of a 3.2 megapixel digital camera and camcorder, featuring 4x zoom. Powered by a 1,500 mAh battery, the handset tips the scales at 5.57oz and measures 4.56 x 2.22 x 0.62 inches.
The LG Axis can be procured from Alltel Wireless for $89.99 after a $50 mail in rebate. Handset owners need to sign up for a two year service agreement.
