Sony Ericsson rolled out a new clamshell mobile phone known as the Z770. This mobile phone has been showcased at Mobile World Congress at Barcelona in Spain.

The new Sony Ericsson Z770 offers web and high HSDPA data speeds. This handset is being designed to surf the web or receive the latest news, and the ‘email set-up wizard’ makes it simple to access your inbox.

The clamshell Z770 can also be connected directly to the laptop through the USB cable and can be used as a modem. It also comes with GoogleMaps for Mobile which enables the user to find places and directions easily.

The Z770 offers a talktime of 8.5 hours with easy email set-up and fast internet access.

The Z770 allows Web email like Yahoo, Hotmail and also retrieve mail from the handset. Exchange ActiveSync allows the user to configure their phone to have work emails pushed straight to your phone, making it easier than ever to stay in touch on the move.

The Z770 also has a 2.0 mega-pixel camera which allows the users to capture images. Sony Ericsson Z770 receives RSS feeds from news or entertainment websites. With just a click on RSS it opens to the favorite webpage from the phone’s application.

The Z770 offers Bluetooth Car Speakerphone HCB-150. This HCB-150 feature a convenient text to speech feature, the HCB-150 verbally alerts you who is calling. The HCB-150 has a talk time of up to 25 hours and 700 hours standby.

The new clamshell web enabled Sony Ericsson Z770 will be made available in Vogue Red, Graphite Black and Exquisite Gold in selected markets from the second quarter of 2008. While the Bluetooth Car Speakerphone HCB-150 will be made available globally from second quater of 2008.
