Samsung graces the market with attractive and economical dual-SIM handsets

The demand for dual SIM handsets has been augmenting among consumers, thanks to the advanced functionality levels. Well, Samsung has now announced the launch of three new dual-SIM phones namely the Star Duos (GT–B7722), the Guru Dual 25 (GT-E1225) and the Guru Dual 26 (GT-E1252) in India.

The Samsung Star Duos claims to be the industry’s first 3G + 2G dual-standby touch handset. Owners can conveniently use two SIM cards and swap between both without re-powering the mobile phone. Social buffs can cheer as they can always be connected with WAP/MMS/E-mail supported software.

The phone offers enhanced touch features that help users with instant messaging, effortless access to exciting mobile app and other business related functions. Fitted with dedicated widgets, the handset puts forth easy navigation with the efficient three page menu and Touchwiz 2.0 plus. The Samsung B-7722 claims to be a suitable option for business professionals since the Active Sync updates e-mails from the desktop to their handy phones, Phone Book 2000 manages the contacts, Multi –language dictionary and Document viewer controls MS Office, PDF TXT and other files. Besides, the exceptional offline mode enables owners to easily switch off their handsets.

The GT–B7722 offers a complete multimedia experience with the enthralling SoundAlive function. The phone comes equipped with a 5MP AF camera with power LED. Music enthusiasts can now smile since FindMusic feature searches songs for download on MP3, while Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP enables them to enjoy music with a wireless headset. Pre-loaded with 250MB internal memory that can be expanded to 32GB, the phone offers easy access to several SNSs like Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. Apart from this, users can chat with utmost ease through Palringo, Gtalk and AOL.

The Samsung Guru Dual 25 allures many with exciting features like a vibrant display, stereo FM, torch, nine regional language support and enhanced phonebook and SMS memory. The dual-SIM handset offers an easy-to-use interface. The Guru Dual 25 adorns a 1.8-inch QQVGA TFT screen, while the Dual 26 sports a 2-inch QQVGA 262K TFT LCD screen. The Samsung E-1225 comes fitted with a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Samsung Guru Dual 25 is powered with a 800mAh battery which puts forth around nine hours of talktime and 420 hours of talktime. The Samsung Guru Dual 26 comes equipped with a 1000mAh extended battery which is capable of delivering up to 11 hours of talktime and 620 hours of standby time. Moreover, the attractive phones feature action-packed games, mobile prayer, Indian calendar, 40 poly ringtones, SOS message and a handy bike mode.

The Samsung GT B7722 is tagged at Rs. 12,300, the Samsung Guru Dual 25 at Rs. 2,020 and the Samsung Guru Dual 26 at Rs. 2,240.
