Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of new handset the W350 which is a walkman phone. This handset is especially for the music lovers.
Sony W350 is a flip phone which allows the users to control music easily. The mobile phone is with style and convenience. A new Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS205 is also announced with the handset.
Ben Padley, Head of Music Marketing at Sony Ericsson commented, “The W350 Walkman phone offers a combination of key easy-to-use music and phone functions in a stylish, compact form.”
He also added, “It is designed to appeal to men and women on-the-go who want a stylish, compact phone that offers a complete MP3 experience at an affordable price.”
The Sony Ericsson W350 is just 10mm thin and a flip phone. The W350 has walkman on top with key MP3 functions including the play, pause and scroll outside the flip cover.
W350 makes it easy to transfer the music on to the phone. Even if the songs are on a CD or on your computer. The user just has to drag the songs from the computer on to their mobile phone through the USB cable.
Sony Ericsson W350 can store up to 470 tracks. It is easy for the user to navigate the songs once they are on the handset.
The users can now have their favorite songs on their handset by just recording a few seconds of the song on the phone’s microphone (or tag it from the built-in radio) and use TrackIDTM to identify it. The phone provides the user with the name of the song, the artist, and even the album so that it can be downloaded and user can enjoy the song.
The W350 comes with 512MB Memory Stick which can store up to 470 songs or 40 entire albums.

The Sony Ericsson W350i handset is available in trendy colors including Electric Black with orange accents. This EDGE 900/1800/1900 phone will be available in the Americas as well as in selected markets from the second quarter of 2008.
