Samsung fans can dig their feet deep into this piece of information. Samsung has decided to expand their array of handsets by launching one more line-up of mobile phones. This new collection of phones is called Samsung Shark. The first handsets for this Shark range include the candy bar Shark S5350 and slider phones, devices Shark 2 S5550 and Shark 3 S3550.

The Shark series is designed to cater to the needs of energetic and entertainment buffs for whom fashion and design is as vital as regular access to social networking sites, family and friends.

Now direct shortcuts are positioned on the display screen, thus enabling users with an effortless one-click log on to Facebook, MySpace, and other desired sites. Samsung Communities software facilitates users to upload and share photos and personal videos to worldwide SNS or photo sharing websites swiftly and effortlessly. In the meantime, speedy and easy access to popular websites such as Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, and YouTube, promote surfing and viewing while on the go.

The Shark series offers security solutions to busy users via attributes counting Mobile Tracker, which assists in tracking a misplaced or stolen mobile by warning the user whenever the SIM card is changed. Additionally, an SOS Message can be programmed to mail a distress alert to a pre-selected emergency contact, thereby facilitating swift and subtle needs for help.

One of the first devices is the Shark S5350. It is an SNS-enabled sleek metal candy bar. The Shark 3 S3550 has a decorative metallic back cover that provides a first-class look from all angles, while the compact size can improve portability and ergonomic comfort. The slender and smooth exterior is balanced by better function due to a superior user interface. A new ground-breaking UI includes a supplementary soft key added in the bottom center. Other features like message composition and efficient layout augment visibility and readability of the menu screens. Additionally, instant messenger and various SNS enablers are available with the mobile phone. The Shark 3 sports a 2 megapixel camera and the 40MB of en suite memory with a microSD up to 8GB.

2010 seems to be quite an eventful year for Samsung what with all these mobile phones being launched.
