HTC Endeavor

A variety of mobile devices have been playing merry go round in the rumor grounds of the tech world prior to the much awaited Mobile World Congress and one of them seems to be the HTC Endeavor. The handset’s ROM has leaked and made its way to the web, blowing off the cover on the specs which remained in the dark till now.

This is the second HTC smartphone to make a splash in the rumor mill after pictures and specs of a mysterious looking handset from the company were recently leaked. Pocketnow, which got hold of this news via XDA Developers, reports that the Endeavor is actually the HTC Edge. This particular device in question was reportedly spotted in November last year.

The Endeavor supposedly employs the new HTC Sense 4.0 user interface and its highlight could very well be the integrated Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core chip CPU. It is said to come equipped with an 8MP rear facing primary camera as well as a 1.3MP front facing secondary snapper. This upcoming smartphone would be capable of lending support to Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. It will also most probably be running on the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and feature a 720p HD touchscreen display.

Although the HTC Endeavor release date and price are not yet known, it is most likely to be disclosed at the upcoming Mobile World Congress which is scheduled to be held in Barcelona later this month.
