Samsung Galaxy S Advance to make its way to the UK through Three

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance which was introduced a couple of days ago, is all set to enter the UK via the network carrier, Three. This new smartphone operates on a 1GHz dual core processor and employs the Samsung TouchWiz user interface.
The Galaxy S Advance is yet another addition to the Galaxy family of mobile devices from Samsung, which has been expanding at a fast rate. Running on the Android 2.3 OS, it comes embedded with a 4-inch WVGA 480 x 800p Super AMOLED display. This smartphone is capable of supporting Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity options.
Sylvia Chind, head of handsets at Three, explained, “The Samsung Galaxy S Advance combines eye-catching design with powerful technology specs that make for an outstanding smartphone experience. Coupled with Three’s fast 3G network, videos will download quickly so you won’t be left in the dark waiting for the latest movie trailers to download.”

Users can keep themselves busy with the range of pre-installed Google apps which include YouTube, Google Maps, Google Calendar and Gmail as well as the expansive Android Market. This Samsung mobile device sports a 1.3MP secondary camera as well as a 5MP rear facing snapper with auto focus and LED flash. As per the specs portrayed by Three, it looks like only the 8GB variant would be landing in the UK via the network carrier.
