Bharti Airtel has extended its consumer facilities by starting an online recharge service for its prepaid users spread across India. This Airtel service follows its previous month’s announcements of Facebook for every phone.

With this development, Airtel will join the likes of prepaid mobile service providers in the country like MTNL, BSNL, Vodafone and more who already have facilities for online recharge. The pan India service was rolled out after a trial launch in the state of Karnataka.

This service can be availed of by Airtel users nationwide by following a simple online procedure. Customers are required to enter their mobile number and then select the amount of recharge they want to make. Further, they can select the mode of payment from the options provided. After verifying details of the ongoing recharge transaction, users can make the online payment though the mode selected. Also, if the payment is made through VISA Debit Card, Airtel offers 5 percent cash back on the transaction.

The values available for online recharge start from Rs. 50. The maximum value available is Rs. 1000. Of these, the recharge values of Rs. 333 and Rs. 444 offer full talk time value.

The Bharti Airtel online prepaid recharge service can now be accessed all over India from airtel.in. Currently, Airtel operates across 19 countries through continents of Asia and Africa and offers services like broadband, IPTV, DTH apart from mobile voice & data services.
