Bharti Airtel users to get Facebook for every phone

Facebook Logo Bharti Airtel along with Facebook has announced the launch of the new ‘Facebook for every phone’ mobile application. With this application, Airtel will facilitate easy social networking access on java feature phones. Thus, it allows users to enjoy a better Facebook experience even on their Java-based mobile phones.

The application gives the finest speed and performance for the use of Facebook, says the company. Also, it has been optimized for convenient use of Facebook on java phones. This includes faster browsing of news feed stories and uploads and also synchronizing local address book contacts with Facebook friends. It also allows easy uploading of photos directly from the mobile phone.

The application touts to give a complete experience of the social networking site without the need for a smartphone. This is all provided by one-time download of the application. But what seemingly makes it truly affordable is its ability to use minimal data in comparison with other java applications.

The Facebook for every phone application will be available free of cost to subscribers of Airtel for a trial period of three months i.e. without any mobile internet data charges. So, users can lay their fingers on this app without any data charges till October 24, 2011. Subscribers can download this application by visiting live.airtelworld.com/facebook from their mobile.
