Maxx Mobiles unleashes Hexa, Rave and Buzz ‘Big Battery’ handsets

So not everyone’s too enthusiastic about having to charge their mobile devices now and again. Maxx Mobiles has offered three new handsets, the Hexa MX155, Rave MX182 and Buzz MX188 with extended battery life at relatively reasonable rates.

The Hexa is powered by a 1800mAh battery with talk time up to 6.5 hours and standby time of almost 600 hours. It features expandable memory of 2GB to enable storage of songs and videos and also supports Bluetooth data connectivity. The music features sound just fine with radio, audio/video player, sound recorder and a melody composer. It also happens to be a dual SIM/dual standby handset.

“In a vast country like India, people spend many hours using their mobile phones but seldom find time to continuously charge it. Anticipating the need for longer battery life, we created three such handsets. Now, even in places where consumers face discontinued electrical supply, they can enjoy the benefits of extended talk-time and standby time,” commented Ajjay Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Maxx Group.

The Rave bar phone is fueled by a 1900mAh battery with 6.4 hours of talk time and up to 650 hours of standby time. It has a microSD slot that supports memory cards of up to 4GB. Additionally, it features a dual torch, dual SIM/dual standby, sound recorder, MP3/3GPP/MP4 player, video recorder, eBook reader and 20mm speakers.

The Buzz is run by a 1800mAh battery with talk time of up to 6.5 hours and stand by time approximately 600 hours. The company bundles it in with a 2GB memory card and there’s 4GB of expandable microUSB storage capacity. It features MP3/MP4 player and wireless FM radio for the musically inclined. It is even equipped with a 1.3 MP camera, and includes options for privacy, protection and much more.

The Maxx Hexa is priced at Rs 1,580, while the Rave and Buzz are priced at Rs 1,888 and Rs 2,068, respectively.
